The Glasgow Tango Collective is an organisation dedicated to the promotion and practice of Argentine tango in Glasgow and beyond. Founded in 2018, the Collective is made up of a passionate group of dancers, teachers and musicians who are committed to providing a vibrant and welcoming space for people to learn, practice and enjoy the beauty of Argentine tango.

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring the joy and beauty of Argentine tango to Glasgow and to create a vibrant and welcoming community of tango dancers. We aim to provide a safe and inclusive space for everyone to learn, practice and enjoy tango, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, ability or experience.

Our Classes and Events

The Glasgow Tango Collective offers a range of classes and events for all levels of experience. Our classes are taught by experienced and passionate teachers, and are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for all. We also offer regular social events, such as milongas (dance parties), practicas (practice sessions) and workshops, to give our members the opportunity to practice their skills and socialise with other tango dancers.

Our Venue

The Collective is based at Wellington Church of Scotland in Glasgow’s Southside. This beautiful and spacious venue provides the perfect setting for our classes and events. We have a large dance floor, comfortable seating and a well-stocked bar.
