Our History

Freedom Dance & Performance was founded in 2006 by professional dancer and choreographer, Sarah Johnson. Sarah’s vision was to create a place where people could come to explore their passion for dance and to express themselves through movement. Since then, Freedom Dance & Performance has grown to become one of the most respected dance schools in Nottingham.

Our Classes

We offer a range of classes for all ages and abilities, from beginner classes to advanced classes for experienced dancers. Our classes are designed to help our students develop their technique and to foster creativity and self-expression. We also offer classes in a variety of styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, tap, and more.

Our Facilities

Our facilities are designed to provide our students with the best possible experience. We have two spacious studios, equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, and state-of-the-art sound systems. We also have a fully equipped changing room and a comfortable waiting area for parents and guardians.
