Footlight Performance Academy is a renowned performing arts school located in Wimborne, Dorset, UK. Our History

Footlight Performance Academy was founded in 2002 by two local dance teachers, Julie and Diana. They wanted to create a place where students could explore their creativity and develop their skills in a safe and inspiring environment.

Since then, Footlight Performance Academy has grown into a well-respected and highly acclaimed performing arts school. We have developed a reputation for excellence and have been recognised for our commitment to providing our students with the highest quality of dance, drama and music education.

Our Facilities

At Footlight Performance Academy, we are proud to offer our students a range of state-of-the-art facilities. Our fully-equipped studio is located at Merley Community Centre in Wimborne, and it features a sprung floor, a mirrored wall, and a wide range of equipment and props.

We also have a dedicated theatre space for our drama and musical theatre classes. It is equipped with a professional sound system, lights, and curtains. We also have a large costume room and a green room for our students to use.
