Our History

First Footers Dance was founded in 2004 by professional dancer and choreographer, Kim Smith. With over 20 years of experience in the dance industry, Kim wanted to create a dance school that would be accessible to everyone, regardless of age or ability. Since then, First Footers Dance has grown to become one of the leading dance schools in the UK. We now have over 500 students and offer classes in a variety of dance styles, including Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, and Hip Hop.

Our Philosophy

At First Footers Dance, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of dance. We strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable and inspired to learn. We are passionate about teaching and believe that everyone has the potential to achieve their goals. Our classes are designed to be fun and engaging, with an emphasis on technique and skill development. We also offer private lessons and workshops for those who want to take their dancing to the next level.

Our Facilities

First Footers Dance is based in the Stanlaw Abbey Business Centre in Ellesmere Port. Our state-of-the-art facilities include a fully-equipped dance studio, a changing room, and a reception area. We also have a café which serves a variety of refreshments and snacks.
