Expressions Theatre Arts is a dance school, ballet school and dance company based in Leigh-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea. Established in 2010, Expressions Theatre Arts has grown to become one of the leading dance schools in the UK, providing quality tuition in a variety of dance styles from ballet and contemporary to jazz and street dance.

Our Mission

At Expressions Theatre Arts, our mission is to provide high-quality dance tuition to students of all ages and abilities, as well as creating a safe and supportive environment in which to learn and develop. We strive to create an atmosphere of respect, inclusivity and fun, and to foster a love of dance and the performing arts.

Our Team

Our team of highly experienced and dedicated teachers are passionate about dance and are committed to providing the best possible tuition to our students. Our teachers are all fully qualified and have a wealth of experience in the performing arts.

Our Classes

Expressions Theatre Arts offers a range of classes for students of all ages and abilities. Our classes include ballet, contemporary, jazz, street dance, tap and musical theatre. We also offer classes for adults and children with special needs.

Our Performance Opportunities

In addition to our regular classes, we also offer our students the opportunity to perform in a variety of shows and events. Our students have performed at the London Palladium, Royal Albert Hall and the Royal Opera House, as well as a number of regional and local venues.

Our Facilities

Our studios are fully equipped with sprung wooden floors, mirrors and professional sound systems. We also have a large selection of costumes and props available for use in our shows and performances.
