EPA is not only a preforming arts school, it's a family.
My daughter has gained so much confidence since she started at this school and has fitted in to the Epa family seamlessly as each and every member of staff has the ability and patience to work with all children and young adults from every background and ability, making them feel right at home and making a conscious effort to make every student feel important.
Also the level of talent and professionalism I have seen from every student in every show we have seen is unmatchable, baring in mind some of the students are so young but still mak— Jade Stendall

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you start ballroom dancing?

Begin with a beginners' class that introduces the basic steps in a group. No prior experience or partner is needed, and you will improve with regular attendance.

What ballroom dance to learn first?

The waltz is often recommended first because its steady timing makes it easier to grasp. The foxtrot is a natural next step once the basics feel comfortable.

Is it possible to learn ballet as an adult?

Yes. Many adults start ballet and find it rewarding, and beginner classes are set up for those with no background, working gradually on posture, strength and technique.

What age is too late to start ballet?

It is never too late to start ballet for pleasure and fitness. A professional path usually needs an early start, but adult beginners can still make meaningful progress.

What are 5 basic steps in line dancing?

The grapevine, step-touch, kick-ball-change, pivot turn and shuffle form the core of line dancing. Learning them lets you keep pace with most routines.

What is the easiest line dance to learn for beginners?

A short four-wall dance with a repeating pattern is the friendliest to learn. Instructors usually start newcomers on something simple so the sequence is quick to master.
