Frequently Asked Questions

What are 5 basic steps in line dancing?

Typical starter steps are the grapevine, step-touch, kick-ball-change, coaster step and pivot turn. Line dancing is not this studio's speciality, but these are the moves most beginner routines rely on.

What is the easiest line dance to learn for beginners?

Simple, looping dances such as the Electric Slide are among the kindest to learn because the same few steps repeat around each wall.

Can you learn to dance without a partner?

Yes, and much of what happens at a studio like this is solo work. Aerial and pole classes are done individually, and line dancing elsewhere also needs no partner.

What should I wear to a beginner dance class?

For pole and aerial work you generally want fitted activewear that lets skin grip the equipment, so shorts and a vest top are common. For other dance styles, loose comfortable clothing and smooth-soled shoes are the norm.

How much does a dance class usually cost?

Fees vary with class type and length, so it is best to ask the studio directly. Beginner courses are sometimes booked as a block rather than paid per session.

Which dance is best for beginners?

It comes down to what appeals to you. If you like the idea of strength and confidence work, a beginners' pole or aerial course here is approachable; if you prefer traditional dance, line dancing and ballroom are gentle starts.
