Introduction

DKL Academy of Dance is a dance school situated in Ilkeston, UK. We are dedicated to teaching the art of dance to all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced. Our mission is to provide quality dance instruction in a fun and supportive atmosphere. We offer classes in a variety of styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, tap, and more. Our teachers are all experienced and passionate about what they do, and we strive to create a welcoming and encouraging environment for our students.

History

DKL Academy of Dance was established in 2002 by professional dancer and choreographer, David K. Lawrence. David has been teaching dance for over 20 years, and has been a part of the UK dance scene for even longer. He has choreographed and performed in numerous shows, and has also worked as a judge and mentor on various dance competitions.

David opened the DKL Academy of Dance with the goal of providing quality dance instruction to students of all ages and levels. He believes that everyone should have the opportunity to learn and experience the joy of dance, and that it is important to create a fun and supportive atmosphere for our students.

Classes

At DKL Academy of Dance, we offer a wide range of classes for all ages and levels. Our classes include ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, tap, and more. We also offer private lessons and group classes. Our classes are taught by experienced and passionate teachers who are dedicated to helping our students reach their goals.
