Dean Academy of Performing Arts (DAPA) is a leading dance, drama and music school based in Canterbury, UK. We provide exceptional teaching in a range of disciplines including ballroom, Latin, salsa, jazz, tap, contemporary, ballet, hip-hop, musical theatre and vocal technique.

At DAPA, we strive to give our students the best possible experience. We offer a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced levels, and our experienced teachers are dedicated to helping our students reach their full potential. We also provide one-to-one tuition and workshops for those looking to improve their skills.

Our aim is to create a safe and supportive environment for our students to explore their creativity and develop their talents. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of performing and we are committed to helping our students achieve their goals.

About DAPA

DAPA was established in 2011 by Dean and Emma Williams, two experienced and passionate dance teachers. Our school has since grown to become one of the leading performing arts schools in the UK, with over 200 students enrolled and a team of highly experienced and dedicated teachers.

At DAPA, we believe that the performing arts should be accessible to everyone. We offer a variety of classes and workshops for all ages and abilities, and our teachers are committed to helping our students reach their full potential. We also provide one-to-one tuition and workshops for those looking to improve their skills.

Our Facilities

At DAPA, we have a range of facilities to ensure our students have the best possible experience. Our main studio is a spacious and well-equipped space, with a sprung floor, sound system and mirrors. We also have a smaller studio for smaller classes and private tuition.

We also have a range of other facilities, including changing rooms, a kitchen and a lounge area. Our students have access to free Wi-Fi and refreshments, and we provide a range of equipment for our classes, including mats, props and costumes.
