My partner and I had the 3x 1 hour dance lessons,with Alexandra recently. In this time Alexandra created a gorgeous, timeless and romantic dance routine for our wedding first dance,which we smashed this weekend at our wedding! Alexandra is a wonderful dancer(which is no surprise with all of her dancing experience and her history of leading lady roles in west end musicals.) She has lots of energy and is very creative and fun to be with. She is also very kind, patient and understanding of different abilities and experience with dancing. Karen and I have been going to Danceworks Devon for six years now . We started as complete novices and we have slowly learned more and more , different dances , routines , steps and techniques . We now feel confident to go to dances anywhere , and especially enjoyed dancing on the two cruises we have been on .

We started our dancing journey in 2013 with Danceworks Devon and have never looked back. Like most men I learnt that I couldn't dance whilst a teenager and its took me over 30 years before I ventured into a dance school to unlearn that lesson! Luckily, here in South Devon we have one of the best dance schools in the country who, with their seemingly unique course structure, have made it very easy to start from scratch and learn the ropes at our own pace. It has opened up a whole new world of social outings and friends, funnily enough our dancing ability has turned out to be the least important— Alec Harvey

Wow, where to start?

Best part – difficult to choose, but we think that the lovely warm atmosphere and nicely judged interior makes Danceworks Devon the best venue in the South West, bearing in mind that we rarely go anywhere else these days.

Then there is the music – Rob makes great use of what's out there and enhances the quality sound with great lighting.

The cream on the top is of course the Teaching. Pauline is simply superb and maintains an amazing level of enthusiasm backed up with massive knowledge of dancing in great depth.
