Dance Fever Holidays — Dance Classes In Manchester

Dance Fever Holidays organises dance weekends and breaks rather than running weekly classes, based near Chester and operating across the country. Reviewers describe well-structured weekends with good floors, varied music and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, with one long-time dancer recommending the clear, fun teaching style. It is a specialist in dance holidays, particularly line dancing weekends, rather than a local teaching school. That makes it a distinctive option for people who want to combine dancing with a getaway.

About Dance Fever Holidays

This is a travel and events operation built around dance breaks, so its focus is holidays and weekend gatherings instead of a fixed weekly timetable. Reviews point to strong organisation, good value and events run so that everyone, even complete beginners, can get up and have a go. The appeal lies in the social experience of a full weekend of dancing away from home.

Classes & Dance Styles

Rather than term-time lessons, the offering centres on structured dance weekends across the country, with line dancing a clear speciality according to guests. The events are described as clearly and enjoyably taught, so newcomers are eased in alongside experienced dancers. Because these are holidays rather than local classes, the emphasis is on social dancing, good floors and DJ-led evenings. It suits people who want to travel, dance and meet others rather than commit to a weekly class near home.

What to Expect on Your First Visit

For a dance weekend, pack comfortable clothes and shoes you can dance in for long stretches, and expect a sociable, relaxed atmosphere. Reviewers suggest even those with two left feet are made to feel welcome, so nerves need not hold you back. Going along ready to join in is the best way to enjoy it.

Location & Contact

What Dancers Say About Dance Fever Holidays

May friend and I arrived at the venue and ettled in. The first night of our dance weekend was great, we danced till the early hours. The requests were varied and the dancing was good. The dance floor was excellent. Our DJ, Daniel Whittaker, was excellent. The next morning we learnt four dances from Neville and Julie, and Dee Musk. Loved these dances, thank you. Fre aternoon (resting!) and the evening was great. We had re-caps of the dances we learnt earlier and danced them, as well as all the newer dances and the older ones too. Dancing was till late again. We had another workshop wi— Marion Moss

I've been dancing for nearly 25 years and I would definitely recommend Daniel Whittaker/Dance Fever. He teaches in a clear and fun way so that everyone can get up and have a go, even with two left feet!

The brilliantly structured weekends across the country that Daniel organises are an added bonus, great value for money at lovely hotels with amazing live entertainment and new dances taught by well known choreographers including Daniel himself.

Had yet another fabulous weekend, booked for next year as soon as I got home ( I’m becoming a regular on these dance weekends). A fun time as always with really friendly people, some great choreographers and of course the fantastic Daniel who’s always smiling. Well worth every penny spent and I would highly recommend these line dance holidays.Every level of dance is catered for and Daniel plays a great selections music that has the dance floor full.— Karen Rigby

Frequently Asked Questions

How hard is it to learn salsa?

Salsa's basics are quick to grasp, with timing the part that rewards practice. In a social weekend setting, the relaxed atmosphere helps beginners find their feet.

Can a non-dancer learn salsa?

Yes. Salsa welcomes complete beginners, and social events are often forgiving places to try it for the first time.

Is it possible to learn ballet as an adult?

Yes, though ballet is best learned in regular classes rather than at a social dance weekend. Many adults take it up successfully at their own pace.

What age is too late to start ballet?

There is no age that rules ballet out. Adult classes welcome all ages and focus on enjoyment over professional standards.

What are 5 basic steps in line dancing?

The grapevine, step-touch, kick-ball-change, pivot turn and shuffle are the core moves. Line dancing weekends build fun routines from these familiar steps.

What is the easiest line dance to learn for beginners?

Simple, looping dances such as the Electric Slide are the easiest to start with. Their short repeating pattern lets newcomers join in almost at once.
