Dance Equation is a dance company based in Nottingham, UK. We provide a range of dance classes and workshops for all ages and abilities. Our mission is to bring the joy of dance to the local community and provide a safe and welcoming environment for everyone to learn, grow and express themselves.

Our History

Dance Equation was founded in 2002 by a group of passionate dancers and teachers who wanted to share their love of dance with the people of Nottingham. Since then, we have grown and expanded our range of classes and workshops to include a variety of styles and levels. We now offer classes for all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced.

Our Team

At Dance Equation, we are passionate about providing quality dance instruction and a safe and welcoming environment for our students. Our team of experienced instructors are dedicated to helping our students reach their goals and have fun while learning. Our instructors have a wide range of experience in different dance styles and are committed to helping our students reach their potential.

Our Classes and Workshops

At Dance Equation, we offer a wide range of classes and workshops for all ages and abilities. Our classes include Latin and Ballroom, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Tap. We also offer workshops in a variety of styles, including Jazz, Salsa, and Swing. We also offer private lessons for individuals and couples.

Our Facilities

Our facilities are designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our students. We have two large studios, equipped with sprung floors and mirrors to ensure our students have the best experience possible. We also have changing rooms, a lounge area, and a fully stocked bar for after class socials.

Our Events

At Dance Equation, we believe in the importance of community and we strive to create a sense of belonging for our students. We host a variety of events throughout the year, from socials and competitions to performances and workshops. We also offer master classes with world-renowned instructors, giving our students the opportunity to learn from the best.
