Dance Attic Rehearsal Studios — Dance Classes In London

Dance Attic Rehearsal Studios is a well-known studio-hire and rehearsal space in London, housed in a characterful old building. It provides large, spotless halls used by dancers, companies and class providers, alongside a café, showers and changing facilities. It is more a hub for dancing than a single dance school.

About Dance Attic Rehearsal Studios

Visitors describe spacious studios with excellent floors, a vintage atmosphere and friendly staff, plus handy extras like an on-site café and even seating galleries in some halls. Reviewers note a lively creative buzz, mentioning drop-in classes such as Bollywood and live-music events, though a small entrance fee and the building's older facilities come up too.

Classes & Dance Styles

Because many independent teachers hire the halls, the range of drop-in sessions here contributes to the wider pool of dance classes in London and dance lessons in London. On any given week you might find styles spanning salsa classes in London, line dancing in London, ballet classes in London and other adult dance classes in London, depending on who is running sessions. As the studios are primarily a rehearsal and hire venue rather than a school with its own syllabus, checking the current schedule is the best way to see what is on.

What to Expect on Your First Visit

First-timers should expect a spacious, no-frills studio environment with useful facilities on hand. Bring comfortable dancewear and suitable shoes for your chosen class, and be aware there may be a small entry charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

How hard is it to learn salsa?

Salsa's basic step is quick to learn, with turns and timing improving through practice. If a salsa class is running here, it makes a good place to start.

Can a non-dancer learn salsa?

Yes, beginners take up salsa easily in classes built for no experience. Check the venue's schedule to see when a suitable session is on.

Is it possible to learn ballet as an adult?

Adults can certainly learn ballet through beginner classes. Various teachers hire studios here, so an adult ballet session may well feature in the timetable.

What age is too late to start ballet?

There is no age too late for recreational ballet, as classes adapt to older beginners. The focus is on enjoyment rather than professional standards.

What are 5 basic steps in line dancing?

Line dancing uses moves such as the grapevine, step-touch, kick-ball-change, pivot turn and coaster step. A line-dance session in the halls here would teach these.

What is the easiest line dance to learn for beginners?

A short, repeating four-wall dance is usually the simplest to begin with. An instructor running a class can suggest a good one.
