About Us

Contrafusion from Ashford is a family-run dance school that has been operating since 2005. We offer a wide range of classes, workshops and events for all ages and abilities, from absolute beginners to experienced dancers. Our teachers are all highly trained and experienced in their respective dance styles, and we strive to ensure that every student receives the best possible instruction.

Our classes are designed to be both fun and educational, and our goal is to help our students to develop their skills and confidence in dancing. We also offer a variety of social events, such as dances, parties and competitions, to help our students to build relationships and make friends.

Classes & Workshops

At Contrafusion from Ashford, we offer a variety of classes and workshops for all ages and abilities. Our classes include:

• Ballroom & Latin: Learn the basics of ballroom and Latin dancing, including the waltz, cha-cha, jive, rumba and more.

• Street Dance: Learn the latest moves in hip-hop, funk and breakdancing.

• Ballet: Learn the basics of classical ballet, including the five positions, pliés, jumps and turns.

• Salsa: Learn the basics of salsa, including the basic steps, turns and spins.

• Tap: Learn the basics of tap, including the shuffle, kick and time steps.

• Zumba: Get fit and have fun with our Zumba classes.

• Yoga: Learn the basics of yoga, including the sun salutation and various poses.

Our workshops are designed to help our students to take their dancing to the next level. Our workshops include:

• Choreography: Learn how to create your own dances and routines.

• Performance: Learn how to perform in front of an audience.

• Technique: Learn advanced technique and styling.

• Competition: Learn how to compete in ballroom and Latin competitions.

Events
