Absolutely the best dance class I’ve done in yearssss. As someone who used to dance a lot I was really nervous and apprehensive about going back after two children and a number of years with two left feet forming. But I smiled from start to finish. Sweated buckets and learnt some serious moves. Leanne was so welcoming and made me feel so at ease at just giving it a go. The routine was sooo much fun and I already cannot WAIT for next week. You must try this class before it becomes totally booked and you miss the chance. The studio was state of the art and you can even get complimentary coffees — Amy Cannon
I had an amazing experience visiting Cody Studios for both a pop up class and studio hire. The studio and facilities are beautiful, welcoming and clean and the space is owned and managed by absolutely wonderful human beings who are super accomodating!
There's different lighting options in the studio and the floor is so nice to dance on, even in heels.
The reception is a gorgeous little space and there's even coffee and tea available. It's also so refreshing to have a studio with nice bathroom facilities 😍

Every personal journey is equipped with classes to support dancers learning new styles and give teachers the opportunity to use the space for a pop up class. Salsa is beginner-friendly because its basic step repeats on a simple count. Most people find the entry easy, with the detail coming through practice.
Yes, beginner classes are made for people who have never danced. You will not be expected to know anything in advance.
Adults can absolutely learn ballet, with classes built around posture, control and gradual progress. Starting later in life is perfectly normal.
For recreational ballet no age is too late, and adults begin at every stage. Only professional performance is age-restricted.
Common basics include the grapevine, step-touch, kick-ball-change, pivot turn and shuffle. These appear across most line dances.
Short, repetitive routines such as the Cupid Shuffle are a good first step. Check with the studio which beginner dance is on the timetable.
