Our History

Clandon School of Dance was founded in 1998 by professional dance instructor and choreographer, John Clandon. John has been dancing for over 30 years and has trained and competed at the highest level in Ballroom and Latin American dance.

John’s vision for Clandon School of Dance was to create a welcoming and friendly environment for all ages and abilities to learn and enjoy dance. Since its inception, Clandon School of Dance has grown to become one of the most successful dance schools in the South East.

Our Classes

At Clandon School of Dance, we offer a wide range of dance classes for children and adults of all ages and abilities. Our classes include Ballroom, Latin, Street Dance, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap, and more.

We also offer private lessons for those wishing to take their dancing to the next level. Our private lessons are tailored to the individual’s needs and are designed to help them reach their goals.

Our Facilities

Our dance studio is located in the heart of Guildford and is fully equipped with a sprung wooden floor, mirrors, and a sound system. We also have a comfortable waiting area with refreshments for our students and parents.
