The Cheryl Heggie School of Dance is a leading dance school in Balloch, Inverness. We specialize in teaching a variety of dance styles, from Highland dancing to Ballroom dancing, to both adults and children. Our History

The Cheryl Heggie School of Dance was founded in 1992 by Cheryl Heggie, a highly experienced and passionate Highland dancer. She has been teaching Highland dancing for over 20 years and is a respected member of the Inverness dance community. Her commitment to providing quality dance instruction and her passion for the art of Highland dancing has been the foundation of our success.

Our mission is to provide a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all of our students. We strive to empower our students to reach their full dance potential and to foster a life-long love of dance. We are dedicated to providing high quality instruction that is tailored to the individual needs of our students. We also strive to create a supportive and inclusive community of dancers that will continue to grow and thrive.

Our Services

We offer a variety of services to meet the needs of our students. We offer private lessons, group classes, and workshops. Our classes are designed to be fun and engaging, while also providing a solid foundation of dance technique. We also offer drop-in classes for those who are looking for a more casual and flexible approach.

We also offer a variety of performance opportunities for our students. We are proud to be a part of the Inverness Highland Dance Festival, which is held every year in August. We also hold our own performances throughout the year, which give our students the opportunity to showcase their hard work and talent.

Our Location

The Cheryl Heggie School of Dance is located in Balloch, Inverness. We are conveniently located in the heart of the city, just a short drive from the airport and other major attractions. Our studio is fully equipped with the latest dance equipment and facilities, including a sprung floor, mirrors, and a sound system.
