Introduction

Burlesque Rocks is a dance school based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. We offer classes, workshops, and events for dancers of all ages and abilities. Our teachers are highly experienced and passionate about their art. We are dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for our students to learn and grow in their practice of burlesque.

History

Burlesque Rocks was founded in 2020 by local dancer and teacher, Joanne Smith. Joanne has been teaching burlesque for over 10 years and is passionate about creating a space for dancers to learn and explore the art form. She wanted to create a school where everyone could feel comfortable and confident to express themselves through burlesque.

Services

At Burlesque Rocks, we offer a variety of services for our students. We offer classes for all levels of experience, from beginners to advanced. We also provide private lessons for those who want to focus on a specific skill or technique. We offer workshops and events for both beginners and experienced dancers.

Teachers

Our teachers are highly experienced and passionate about their art. They are dedicated to helping our students reach their goals and explore their creativity. Our teachers have a wide range of experience in various styles of dance, including burlesque, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary.
