What Dancers Say About Bradley Dance Freelance – Glenfield

5/5 from 3 Google reviews.

I cannot express enough the joy that I get from going to Bradley’s Latin and Ballroom Classes. Being there has helped my Mental Health so much. I look forward to Tuesday nights so much. Lovely group of people of different ages and abilities attend. We have fun, get fit and learn some beautiful dance moves. So far I have done Rumba, Waltz, Viennese Waltz and we just started Cha Cha. I have thoroughly loved them all.

Also attended the Salsa night with social Cocktails on a Monday night which was equally as wonderful.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you start ballroom dancing?

A beginner class is the usual starting point, introducing the hold, posture and basic steps before you build up individual dances. Progress comes from tackling one or two dances at a time.

What ballroom dance to learn first?

The waltz suits many beginners because of its clear rhythm and simple box step. It lays a foundation that makes the faster dances easier to approach later.

How hard is it to learn salsa?

The basic step comes quickly, but timing and turns take a bit more practice to master. Dancing socially helps it all fall into place.

Can a non-dancer learn salsa?

Yes, no dance background is needed. Beginner sessions build the essentials step by step so anyone can take part.

What are 5 basic steps in line dancing?

Staples include the grapevine, step-touch, kick-ball-change, pivot turn and shuffle. Routines combine these in varied sequences.

What is the easiest line dance to learn for beginners?

A short four-wall beginner dance with a repeating pattern is the simplest. The repeating sequence means the whole floor soon moves in time.
