I was quite apprehensive at first to start a language course but the team at Battersea Spanish are so welcoming and the other students on the course are great! The building is fantastic with a restaurant and bar called The Tapas Rooms downstairs – there is outside seating and the restaurant staff are super friendly and inviting. The classes themselves are superb and the teachers very knowledgeable with great senses of humour which makes the classes entertaining as well as very informative. I can't speak more highly of Battersea Spanish. I discovered it when I saw their Latin Fitness classes advertised summer 2021 and was eager to get fit and tone up. I'm now doing one of their beginners' Spanish classes. You always get a warm welcome at Battersea Spanish whether it's from the teachers and bar staff, other students. It's a really cosy venue with a very supportive environment whether you're dancing or learning Spanish. Battersea Spanish is fairly unique I think. A language school for adults that treats you like an adult! They put newcomers at ease by offering a welcome glass of Sangria and an ice-breaker activity. The school has a Tapas Bar and you're welcome to socialise before and after class. You can even take your copa de vino (o cerveza) into class with you.

Classes are available at all levels from absolute beginner through to Advanced.

Battersea Spanish is an incredible place to learn Spanish. I've completed 7 courses there going from absolute beginner to now being being able to have conversations with my Spanish family which was my goal when I started. You can really immerse yourself into Latin culture also which speeds up the learning process. There are Spanish movie nights, cooking courses inspired by the Hispanic regions of the world and dance classes including Flamenco & Salsa.
