Our History

Ashby’s School Of Dance was founded in 2002 by our principal, Mark Ashby. Mark had been teaching dance for many years and wanted to create a school that would provide a safe and friendly environment for dancers of all ages and abilities. Since then, the school has grown and now offers a wide variety of classes and courses, ranging from beginner to advanced.

Our Philosophy

At Ashby’s School Of Dance, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of dance. Our aim is to provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can come to learn, grow and develop their skills. We believe that dance is a great way to stay healthy, meet new people and have fun.

Our Classes and Courses

At Ashby’s School Of Dance, we offer a wide range of classes and courses for all ages and abilities. Our classes include Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, Tango, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Contemporary. We also offer a range of courses such as our Beginner Course, Intermediate Course, Advanced Course, and Summer School. Our experienced and passionate teachers will help you develop your skills and confidence in the world of dance.

Our Facilities

At Ashby’s School Of Dance, we have a fully equipped studio with sprung floors, mirrors, and a sound system. We also have a cafe and lounge area where you can relax and socialise after your class.
