I joined Ann’s dancing school at the beginning of February and cannot recommend it highly enough. The classes are welcoming, inclusive and great fun – even on the drabbest evening, I leave feeling energised both physically and mentally. Ann is the perfect teacher! She explains everything so clearly and has plenty of personality and a great sense of humour. Belinda is fantastic too. She has endless patience and gives really good guidance to improve. I’ve wanted to learn to dance for years but was very nervous about joining a class. I can honestly say this has been the highlight of my year so fa— K D
This is a lovely welcoming & friendly dance school. My wife and I have been attending weekly classes for three years.
I had absolutely no knowledge of dance when we started.
We entered the hall on the first evening to see a group of about thirty people moving in unison across the dance floor.
I was impressed. Each session is preceded by a reminder of the basic steps and new students are encouraged to join in at their own pace.
Ann Langley and her assistants have taught us with unfailing patience and professionalism and above all it has been fun.
This year we were confident enough to take — David
Ann Langley's dance classes are fun, affordable and sociable! There's a great range of Ballroom and Latin dances to learn and use on the social dance floor. It's all I could ask for in an evening hobby class. There's a great mix of ages and always someone to dance with whether it be other singletons like me or the helpers on hand. Ann has an extensive dance knowledge with a good balance of footwork (for those who just want to get round the floor) and technique (for those who are ready to take it to the next step- pardon the pun!) – highly recommend her classes!— B
My husband and I joined Ann's dance class 3 years ago as complete beginners. The classes are fun and informal and everyone is there to learn a new skill and meet new people who are all there for the same reason. Ann's band of helpers are excellent and very patient! Thanks to Ann's professionalism and teaching skills we are now good enough to have danced round the floor in the Blackpool Tower ballroom. We both look forward to our Wednesday evenings and roll on 2020 for another year of dancing.— Nicola Eagle

Gentle social dancing can benefit general fitness, but anyone with heart failure should consult their doctor first. A professional can advise on safe activity levels.
