All About Eve Dance Academy has taught me so many things over the last 7 years. Not only are you taught how to become the best dancer you can be, but from a young age children are taught about commitment, dedication, the value of friendships, the list goes on.
Miss Eve is a lovely, welcoming and caring teacher. She is fantastic at what she does.

My time dancing at All About Eve has almost come to and end as I start my 3 years at Dance University. I cannot thank Miss Eve enough.
I would highly recommend this dance school to anyone, it is one big AAE Family. I am extremely grateful for my time — Jessica Nelmes

We love AAE, Miss Eve is totally committed to teaching her students to be the absolute best they can be. We travel almost an hour each way trip to attend. Not only do the students get the best technical teaching but also the experience Miss Eve jas had in the industry is invaluable to them. I definitely believe she played a huge part in my eldest daughter’s successful application to Drama College after giving her the help and confidence that she could do it despite my daughter’s doubts. She’s taught my girls from being tiny and they totally respect her and look up to her. The dance famil— Vanessa Hanley

My daughter started dancing at the age or 3 and had to have a break when around 6, I came across all about eve dance academy and Elle went for a taster at 9years old and never looked back, the teacher is incredible always reaches for the highest achievement from her students. Not only did my daughter find a dance teacher who believed in her and supported her to follow her dreams to go onto dance college for hopefully a good career in the dance industry without miss Eve i dont believe Elle would have done this, I also found friends who I will always call my dance family.— Donna ayres

My daughter has been at All about Eve dance academy since she was four years of age, now being 13 & still loves it! The support Miss Eve gives the whole academy, and the support in the private lessons is second to non. All of the classes are a great price, the same goes for the comps & uniforms.

I would highly recommend to any one wanting their child to start out & go far. There is no pressure from Miss eve for extra lessons or tuition, the start and finish times are perfect for families as I would know having another child.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are 5 basic steps in line dancing?

The grapevine, step-touch, kick-ball-change, shuffle and pivot turn are staples. Beginner routines tend to combine these few moves in varying orders.

What is the easiest line dance to learn for beginners?

A short four-wall dance with a repeating pattern is the easiest way in. The same sequence repeats as you turn, so it soon feels familiar.

Can you learn to dance without a partner?

Yes, much of dance is done solo, from technique classes to line dancing. You do not need to bring anyone with you to get started.

What should I wear to a beginner dance class?

Choose comfortable clothing you can move freely in, with soft, flat shoes to begin. The academy will let you know if a specific class needs particular footwear.

How much does a dance class usually cost?

Fees depend on the class length, style and payment arrangement. For current prices it is best to ask the academy, who can talk you through the options.

Which dance is best for beginners?

The right starting style depends on the dancer, though a solid technique or ballet foundation suits younger pupils well. A taster session is the surest way to find what clicks.
