About Us

Alba School of Dance is a dance school based in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, offering classes in all styles of dance. Our school was founded in 1993 and has been providing quality dance tuition ever since. We are passionate about helping our students to reach their full potential, no matter what their age or ability.

Our highly qualified and experienced teachers are dedicated to providing a fun and rewarding learning experience for all our students. We offer classes in a variety of styles, from ballet and tap to contemporary and jazz. We also offer classes in Latin and ballroom dancing, as well as hip-hop and breakdance.

At Alba School of Dance, we believe in creating a supportive and encouraging environment for our students. We strive to make sure that all our classes are enjoyable and that everyone feels comfortable and welcome. We also believe in the importance of developing a strong sense of community among our students, and we regularly host social events to encourage our students to get to know each other better.

Our Classes

At Alba School of Dance, we offer a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities. Our classes are suitable for both beginners and experienced dancers, and we have classes for children, teenagers and adults.

For our younger students, we offer classes in ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary dance. Our classes are designed to develop their technique, strength and flexibility, and to help them to develop their confidence and performance skills.

For our older students, we offer classes in Latin and ballroom dancing, as well as hip-hop and breakdance. We also offer classes in musical theatre and performance, where our students can learn to combine dance with acting and singing.

We also offer private lessons for those who want to focus on a particular style or technique. Our private lessons are tailored to the individual, allowing our students to progress at their own pace.

Our Facilities

At Alba School of Dance, we have a range of facilities to ensure that our students have the best possible experience. Our school has four large studios, all of which are equipped with the latest sound and lighting equipment. Our studios are also air-conditioned and have sprung floors, ensuring that our students can dance in comfort and safety.

We also have a fully-stocked costume store, where our students can find the perfect outfit for their next performance. We also have a café, where our students can relax and socialise with their fellow dancers.

Our Events

At Alba School of Dance, we believe in the importance of giving our students the opportunity to perform. We regularly host events and competitions, where our students can showcase their skills and compete against each other.

We also host regular social events, such as movie nights and pizza parties, to give our students the chance to get to know each other better. We also offer a range of workshops and masterclasses, where our students can learn from experienced professionals.
