Akshayam’s History

Akshayam was established in 2013 by professional dancer and choreographer, Sharmila Akshayam. Sharmila has over 20 years of experience in the dance industry, having worked with some of the biggest names in the business. Her passion for dance and her commitment to teaching has earned her a reputation as one of the leading dance schools in the UK.

Classes Offered

Akshayam offers a range of classes for all ages and abilities. From beginner classes to advanced classes, there is something for everyone. Classes include:

Facilities

Akshayam has a fully-equipped studio with sprung floors, mirrors, and a sound system. The studio has a capacity of up to 50 people and is available for hire.

Akshayam’s teachers are all highly-trained professionals with extensive experience in the dance industry. All teachers hold valid DBS certificates and are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all students.
