What Dancers Say About 2Faced Dance Company

4.7/5 from 11 Google reviews.

I recently hired out the studios at 2Faced Dance and I couldn’t be happier. The whole team were so welcoming, supportive, inclusive and helpful. They gave me a tour of the facilities which are absolutely stunning and very easy to use! Studio 2 is a well sized mirrored space which helped me create and practice choreography for some self tapes I had to submit and then studio 1 is a larger and brighter space with high ceilings which felt good to dance in. If you’re ever in or near Hereford and need access to a studio that is central to the city this is the place to hire! x— Connor Pearson

I've been hiring Studio Two at 2Faced Dance Co. in Hereford on a weekly basis for the last year for private dance practise. It's a large mirrored space where I can create and practise choreography, drills and exercises for teaching and performance. It's a wonderfully welcoming venue; the staff are so accommodating, supportive, inclusive and efficient, and they and the company members and other hirers create an inspiring atmosphere in which to work. A fantastic space right in the heart of the city!— Abbie Mason

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you start ballroom dancing?

Begin with a beginners' class that teaches posture, hold and a few basic steps. You build from there, gradually adding dances as your confidence grows, though this company specialises in contemporary styles.

What ballroom dance to learn first?

The waltz is a common first choice because of its clear three-count rhythm. A simple foxtrot is another gentle starting point favoured by many teachers.

Is it possible to learn ballet as an adult?

Yes, adults can learn ballet effectively through beginner-focused classes. Steady practice develops strength, alignment and technique at any age.

What age is too late to start ballet?

No age is too late to take up ballet. Consistency of practice matters far more than the age you begin.

What are 5 basic steps in line dancing?

The grapevine, step-touch, kick-ball-change, pivot turn and shuffle are typical foundation steps. They recur throughout most beginner line dances.

What is the easiest line dance to learn for beginners?

Routines based on a simple, repeating grapevine are the easiest to learn. Contact the company to ask which classes are currently running.
