About Us

Silver Leys Scout Centre is a youth organisation and sports club based in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, UK. We provide a range of activities for young people aged between 6 and 18 years old. Our mission is to provide a safe, fun and educational environment for young people to learn, grow and develop.

We are a part of the UK Scouting movement and are affiliated with the Scout Association. Our centre offers a range of activities including camping, hiking, rock climbing, orienteering, and more. We also offer a range of dance classes, including ballroom, Latin, and contemporary dance.

At Silver Leys Scout Centre we believe in providing a safe and supportive environment for our members to learn and grow. We strive to promote respect and understanding amongst our members and strive to create an atmosphere of fun and friendship.

Facilities

Silver Leys Scout Centre is located on Hadham Rd in Bishop’s Stortford. Our centre is equipped with a range of facilities to accommodate our members. Our facilities include a large hall, a kitchen, a dining area, and a large outdoor area.

The large hall is ideal for our dance classes and other activities. We have a range of equipment available for use, including a sound system, a projector, and a dance floor. The kitchen is equipped with a range of appliances and utensils, perfect for preparing meals for our members. The dining area is the perfect place for members to relax and socialise.

The outdoor area is perfect for activities such as camping, hiking, and orienteering. We have a range of equipment available for use, including tents, sleeping bags, and cooking equipment.

Staff

At Silver Leys Scout Centre we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for our members. Our staff are highly experienced and qualified, and are dedicated to providing a positive experience for our members.

Our staff are available to provide guidance and advice to our members, and are always on hand to answer any questions. We also have a range of qualified instructors, who are experienced in teaching a range of activities, including dance, camping, and orienteering.

Membership

Silver Leys Scout Centre is open to all young people aged between 6 and 18 years old. We offer a range of membership packages, including single memberships, family memberships, and group memberships.

Our single memberships include access to all our activities and facilities, as well as discounts on our dance classes. Our family memberships include access for up to four family members, and our group memberships include access for up to 10 people.
