About Us

PQA Ipswich is a performing arts academy based in Ipswich, Suffolk, in the UK. We provide a range of classes and activities for children and young people aged 4-18. Our mission is to provide an inspiring and creative environment for our students to develop their skills and talents in the performing arts.

At PQA Ipswich, we believe in the power of creativity to transform lives. Our classes are designed to help young people explore their passions and discover their potential. We provide a safe and supportive environment for our students to express themselves and develop their confidence.

Our classes include drama, musical theatre, comedy, improvisation, and dance. We also offer classes in singing, acting, and public speaking. Our students have the opportunity to take part in regular performances and workshops, as well as take part in our annual showcase.

Our Team

The team at PQA Ipswich is made up of experienced and passionate professionals. Our teachers are all highly qualified and experienced in their fields, and are dedicated to providing the best possible tuition for our students.

Our Head of Academy is the highly experienced performer and director, Richard Smith. Richard has been teaching and directing in the performing arts for over 20 years, and has a wealth of experience in the industry. Our teachers are all experienced professionals who are passionate about the performing arts and dedicated to helping our students reach their full potential.

Our Facilities

PQA Ipswich is based at the Ormiston Endeavour Academy in Ipswich. Our academy is well-equipped with the latest technology and facilities. We have a fully-equipped theatre, as well as a range of rehearsal and practice rooms. We also have a recording studio, so our students can record their performances and practice their skills.
