Select School of Dance is a leading dance school based in Stanmore, UK. Our mission is to provide a fun, safe and inspiring environment for people of all ages and abilities to learn and enjoy dance. We offer a wide range of classes and activities, from ballet and contemporary to jazz and tap, as well as social dance classes and workshops. Our experienced and dedicated team of teachers and staff are committed to helping our students reach their full potential and achieve their dance goals.

Our History

Select School of Dance was established in 2002 and has since grown to become one of the most respected and successful dance schools in the country. Our founder, professional dancer and choreographer, Rachelle Smith, has been teaching dance for over 25 years and has a wealth of experience in the industry. Rachelle’s passion for dance and commitment to excellence has been the driving force behind our success.

Our Philosophy

At Select School of Dance, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the joy of dance. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment for our students, where everyone is encouraged to reach their full potential. Our classes are designed to help our students develop their technique, build confidence and express themselves through movement. We believe that everyone has the capacity to learn and progress, regardless of age or ability.

Our Facilities

Select School of Dance is proud to offer a state-of-the-art facility with three large studios, a changing room, and a reception area. Our studios are equipped with sprung floors, wall-to-wall mirrors and a top-of-the-line sound system. Our changing room is stocked with lockers and showers, and our reception area is staffed with friendly and knowledgeable personnel.

Our Classes

At Select School of Dance, we offer a variety of classes for all ages and abilities. Our classes are designed to challenge and inspire our students, while providing a fun and safe learning environment. We offer classes in ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, and social dance, as well as workshops and private lessons. We also have a range of performance opportunities throughout the year, including our annual showcase and our end-of-year production.
