Welcome to Drury Lane Tap, the leading tap dance school in London. We are dedicated to providing a fun and educational experience for all ages and levels of experience. Our classes are designed to be both enjoyable and challenging, with the aim of helping our students develop their skills and reach their full potential.

At Drury Lane Tap, we believe that tap dancing is about more than just steps and technique. Our classes are designed to foster a sense of community and to help our students develop a passion for the art of tap. We are proud to be a part of the vibrant tap dance scene in London and to be part of the wider UK dance community.

Our History

Drury Lane Tap was founded in 2009 by experienced tap dancer and teacher, Sarah Smith. Sarah’s vision was to create a school that combined the best of traditional tap with modern styles and techniques. Since then, the school has gone from strength to strength, with classes for all ages and levels of experience.

Our Classes

At Drury Lane Tap, we offer a range of classes for all ages and levels of experience. Our classes are designed to be both enjoyable and challenging, with the aim of helping our students develop their skills and reach their full potential.

Our classes include:

Beginners Classes

Our beginners classes are designed to introduce students to the basics of tap dancing. We cover the fundamentals of tap technique, as well as introducing students to the joys of tap performance.

Intermediate Classes

Our intermediate classes are designed to help students take their tap skills to the next level. We cover more complex rhythms and steps, as well as introducing students to the art of improvisation.

Advanced Classes

Our advanced classes are designed to help students refine their technique and learn more complex steps and rhythms. We also cover the art of choreography and performance.

Our Location

Drury Lane Tap is located in the heart of London, at 17 Stukeley Street, London WC2B 5LT. Our classes are held in a bright and spacious studio, equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems.
