Mersey Swing is a dance school and event organiser based in Liverpool, UK. We are dedicated to bringing the joy of Ballroom and Latin dancing to the people of Liverpool and beyond. Our mission is to provide an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere for our students, while teaching them the skills and techniques needed to excel in these dance styles.
Our History
Mersey Swing was founded in 2016 by a group of passionate dancers with a shared love for Ballroom and Latin dancing. Since then, we have grown to become one of the leading providers of Ballroom and Latin dance classes in the North West of England. Our classes are taught by highly experienced and qualified instructors, who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise with our students.
Our Classes
Mersey Swing offers a range of classes for both beginners and experienced dancers. Our classes are designed to help our students learn the basics of Ballroom and Latin dancing, as well as developing their technique and performance skills. We also offer private lessons for those looking for more one-on-one tuition.
Our Events
In addition to our classes, Mersey Swing also organises a range of events throughout the year. These include social dances, competitions, and exhibitions. These events are a great way for our students to show off their skills, as well as meeting other dancers from around the country.
Our Location
Mersey Swing is located in the heart of Liverpool, at 22 Hope Street. Our studio is easily accessible by public transport, and is only a short walk from the city centre. We also have ample free parking available for those travelling by car.
