Thames Valley Tango is a dance school based in Windsor, UK, dedicated to teaching the art of Argentine Tango. We offer a range of classes, workshops and events for all levels. Our mission is to provide a fun and welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy and learn the beautiful dance of Argentine Tango.

Our History

Thames Valley Tango was founded in 2003 by professional dancer and choreographer, Martin Smith. With a passion for Argentine Tango, Martin wanted to bring the dance to the people of Windsor and the surrounding area. Since then, we have grown to become the premier destination for Argentine Tango in the Thames Valley region.

Our Classes

At Thames Valley Tango, we offer a range of classes for all levels of experience. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned dancer, we have something for everyone. Our classes are suitable for both couples and solo dancers, and no partner is necessary.

We offer classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced dancers. Our classes are taught by experienced and qualified instructors who are passionate about Argentine Tango. We also offer workshops and special classes for those who want to take their dancing to the next level.

Our Events

In addition to our classes, we also host a range of events throughout the year. Our events are a great way to meet new people and learn more about Argentine Tango. We host regular milongas (social dances) and practicas (practice sessions) in our studio in Old Windsor Memorial Hall. We also host special events such as workshops and masterclasses with visiting teachers from around the world.

Our Venue

Thames Valley Tango is based in the Old Windsor Memorial Hall, a beautiful and historic venue in the heart of Windsor. The venue is fully equipped with a sprung dance floor, air conditioning and a bar. We also have a range of refreshments available for purchase.
