About Us

Rochelle Ballet School & Performing Arts is a dance school, ballet school, performing arts group and performing arts theatre based in Havant, Hampshire, UK. Established in 2020, we are committed to providing quality dance and performing arts classes, workshops and performances for all ages and abilities.

Our team of highly experienced and qualified teachers are dedicated to inspiring and nurturing the creativity of our students. We offer a range of classes including ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, hip-hop, musical theatre, acting and singing. We also provide private tuition and workshops for those wishing to further their skills.

We are passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment for our students to explore their creativity and develop their skills. Our classes are designed to be fun and engaging, while also challenging and inspiring our students.

Our Facilities

We are proud to be based in Warblington School, which provides us with excellent facilities for our classes and performances. Our studio is a large, air-conditioned space with a sprung floor and mirrored walls, which is perfect for dance and performing arts classes.

We also have a theatre space which is ideal for our performances. This space can accommodate up to 200 people and is equipped with a professional lighting and sound system.

Our Classes

We offer a range of classes for all ages and abilities. Our classes are designed to be fun and engaging, while also challenging and inspiring our students.

Our classes include:

• Ballet – A classical form of dance that focuses on grace, poise and technique
• Contemporary – A modern form of dance that combines elements of jazz, modern and classical ballet
• Jazz – A lively form of dance that focuses on rhythm and improvisation
• Tap – A percussive form of dance that focuses on rhythm and timing
• Hip-hop – A street-style form of dance that combines elements of funk, jazz and breakdancing
• Musical Theatre – A combination of singing, dancing and acting
• Acting – A class focusing on the development of dramatic skills and techniques
• Singing – A class focusing on the development of vocal technique and performance skills

We also offer private tuition and workshops for those wishing to further their skills.

Performances

Rochelle Ballet School & Performing Arts is dedicated to providing the highest quality performances for our students. We regularly host performances to showcase the talent of our students and celebrate their achievements.

Our performances include:

• Recitals – A showcase of our students’ performances with a variety of styles and genres
• Themed performances – Performances with a specific theme, such as a movie or musical
• Collaborative performances – Performances that combine elements of dance, acting and singing
• Competitions – Performances that are judged by a panel of experts
