History

The Academy from Lytham Saint Annes was founded in 2001 by the current director, Josephine Johnson. Josephine has been teaching dance for over 20 years, and her experience and passion for the art of dance has been instrumental in the success of The Academy. Over the years, The Academy has become well-known for its high-quality instruction and its commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all of its students.

Mission

The mission of The Academy from Lytham Saint Annes is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where dancers of all ages and abilities can learn and grow. We strive to create a community of dancers that are passionate about their art and dedicated to learning and perfecting their craft. We strive to foster a spirit of collaboration and support among our students, and to create a space where dancers can come together to share their love of dance.

Programs

The Academy from Lytham Saint Annes offers a variety of programs for students of all ages and abilities. Our classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of dance, while also introducing students to more advanced techniques. We offer classes in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip-hop, and contemporary dance. We also offer classes in acrobatics, tumbling, and performance. In addition to our regular classes, we also offer private lessons and workshops.

Performances

The Academy from Lytham Saint Annes is dedicated to providing performance opportunities for our students. We regularly host performances throughout the year, including our annual recital in the spring. We also offer our students the opportunity to perform in local competitions and festivals.
