Turning Pointe School of Dance – Lewes Branch is a dance school based in Lewes, East Sussex, UK. Founded in 2002, the school offers a variety of classes and activities for children and adults of all ages and abilities. From beginner to advanced levels, Turning Pointe provides a comprehensive range of classes to suit everyone from the absolute beginner to the professional dancer.

At Turning Pointe, we believe that everyone can dance, no matter their age or ability. Classes

Turning Pointe School of Dance offers a range of classes for all ages and abilities. Our classes include Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Street Dance, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Latin, Ballroom, Acrobatics and Creative Movement. We also offer classes for adults, including Adult Ballet, Tap and Latin.

We also offer private lessons and workshops for individuals, couples or groups. Private lessons are tailored to the individual’s needs and can be tailored to any level. Our workshops are designed to give our students the opportunity to learn new skills and explore different styles of dance.

Facilities

Turning Pointe School of Dance is located in the All Saints Centre in Friars Walk, Lewes. We have two spacious studios, both of which are equipped with mirrors, ballet bars, and a sound system. Our studios are also air conditioned, making them comfortable for all our classes.

We also have a well-stocked shop for all your dancewear needs, as well as a café where you can grab a snack or a drink before or after class.

Events

Turning Pointe School of Dance hosts a number of events throughout the year, including performances, competitions and socials. We also provide the opportunity for our students to take part in examinations and festivals.

Staff

Turning Pointe School of Dance is staffed by a team of experienced and qualified teachers. All of our teachers have a passion for dance and a wealth of knowledge and experience in their chosen field. We also have a team of support staff, who are dedicated to providing the best possible experience for our students.
