About SO Dance Academy

SO Dance Academy is a leading dance school based in Crowborough, East Sussex. Founded in 2016 by professional dancer and choreographer, Simon O’Connor, SO Dance Academy provides a unique and exciting learning environment for all ages and abilities.

At SO Dance Academy, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn to dance, no matter their age, experience or ability. We offer a range of classes, from beginner to advanced, as well as private lessons, group classes, and workshops for all ages and abilities.

We also offer drama classes, instructional dance videos, and private tuition for those who wish to pursue a career in the performing arts. We believe that our students should be encouraged to explore their creativity and develop their own unique style of dance.

Our Classes

At SO Dance Academy, we offer a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities. Our classes include Ballroom, Latin, Street, Freestyle, and Contemporary, as well as Drama and Instructional Dance Videos.

Our classes are taught by experienced and qualified teachers, who are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for our students. We believe that our classes should be fun, informative, and challenging, and our teachers strive to ensure that our students are learning the correct techniques and developing their skills in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Our Facilities

SO Dance Academy is based at the Crowborough Tennis and Squash Club, which is located in the heart of Crowborough. Our facilities include two large dance studios, a café, and a fully-equipped changing room. We also have a range of other amenities, such as a bar, a lounge area, and a shop.
