Busybodies Stage School is a vibrant, family-run performing arts school based in Dereham, Norfolk. We provide a wide range of classes for children and young adults of all ages and abilities, from beginner to advanced.

Our mission is to provide an enjoyable and safe environment for our students to learn, grow, and develop their skills in the performing arts. We strive to foster a love of dance, drama, and music in our students and create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere where everyone can thrive.

History

Busybodies Stage School was founded in 2009 by the husband and wife team of Robert and Diane Smith. With a combined experience of over forty years in teaching and performing, they have created a school that has become a local favourite.

Classes

At Busybodies Stage School, we offer a range of classes for children of all ages and abilities. From beginner to advanced, our classes include ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, drama, and musical theatre. We also offer private and group lessons for those who want to take their skills to the next level.

Our classes are taught by experienced and qualified teachers, who strive to create a positive and encouraging atmosphere for our students. We also have a range of performance opportunities throughout the year, giving our students the chance to put their skills to the test and shine in the spotlight.

Facilities

At Busybodies Stage School, we have a fully-equipped studio with sprung wooden floors, full-length mirrors, and a sound system. We also have two smaller studios, which are perfect for one-on-one lessons and private rehearsals.

Our studio is located in Toftwood, just a short drive from Dereham town centre. We are easily accessible by car, and have plenty of free parking available.
