There is such a great atmosphere at The Palais and it makes no difference whether you go to one of the Saturday or Sunday social sequence dances nights or Thursday Line Dance night or the afternoon tea dance on Thursday, or the monthly Dancing with Dementia, the people are all so friendly and welcoming. It's an absolutely beautiful ballroom, a hidden gem of a venue, perfect for wedding parties and special celebrations. The doors are on a closer so just give them a push and you'll be wowed the first time you walk in! All the locals should pop by just to have a look, even those who don't dance. — Abigail Hannon

I have been going to Swinton palais for 6 month's now to help raise money for dementia .its a great afternoon with an artist singer and dancing … We give a donation of £2 and they provide tea /coffee and a biscuit .we buy raffle tickets for about 10 prizes .
