Stepping Out Performing Arts School is a premier dance school located in Cramlington, Northumberland, UK. We offer classes in a variety of dance styles including Ballroom, Latin American, Street, and Contemporary. Our mission is to provide our students with the best possible dance experience and to help them reach their full potential.

Our History

Stepping Out Performing Arts School was founded in 2020 by professional dancer and choreographer Lisa Smith. With over 20 years of experience in the dance industry, Lisa wanted to create a space for people of all ages and abilities to come together and learn to dance. In the short time since its inception, Stepping Out has grown to become one of the most respected dance schools in the North East.

Our Programs

At Stepping Out, we offer a range of classes for all ages and abilities. Our classes are designed to help our students develop their skills, confidence, and technique. We offer classes in Ballroom, Latin American, Street, and Contemporary. We also offer private lessons for those who want to focus on a specific style or skill.

Our Facilities

We are located in the heart of Cramlington at Southlands Middle School. Our facility is well equipped with a professional sound system, sprung dance floor, and mirrors, providing the perfect environment for learning and developing your skills.
