For my best friend's hen do, I organised to bring the group to Pineapple for a dance class, and it was an excellent decision! Our instructor Marina had oodles of energy, she created the perfect routine for us to learn that was fun, spunky and just the right level. We were laughing and smiling the whole time, and the hour flew by! We were all super impressed at how much we were able to learn in just an hour – all down to Marina's fantastic teaching. We broke out our dance moves at a bar later on that evening and it was SO much fun. I highly recommend it as a hen do activity — thanks so much M— Margot Peppers
Five Stars for Raymond Chai's ballet class at 6.30 pm on Tuesdays. It's a beautiful, fast, classical ballet class although based at an intermediate / general level dance the teacher works to promote confidence, strength and technicality in all who attends so has immense room for varying levels of ability. Raymond is also an amazing judge of character his experience and wisdom with working with the disposition of the individual will win every time – if you can reach the person correctly you will make the dancer. This class is seriously great for vocational students and those who simply love to— Louise Luton
I've tried Sensual Salsa on Wednesdays. It's brilliant!
I've visited many salsa places before and I wasn't satisfied, actually those places made me said and thought I won't find a good place in London. Than my colleague mentioned Pineapple. I've never heard about it and thought okay let's try but I don't think it will be good. And 'my jaw fell off'! It was amazing!
Very well skilled teachers, well structured sessions, fun-, friendly atmosphere and they can teach! If you want to learn dancing, Elena and Jorge (the teachers) are your people.

Salsa is one of the more accessible partner dances, and most beginners can manage a basic pattern within their first few classes. The timing takes a little practice, but it soon becomes second nature.
Yes, complete beginners are exactly who introductory salsa classes are made for. You can join solo, as no partner is needed to learn the basics.
Yes, adult ballet classes are widely available and welcome newcomers. Regular attendance steadily improves strength, alignment and technique regardless of when you begin.
It is never too late; adults of all ages take up ballet for its discipline and grace. Progress simply depends on consistency rather than youth.
Foundational steps include the grapevine, step-touch, kick-ball-change, pivot turn and shuffle. These recur across countless routines, so they are well worth mastering early.
Dances built on a simple, repeating grapevine pattern are the kindest for beginners. For details of current beginner classes, it is best to contact the studios directly.
