Angus is a superb teacher, clear, fun, well paced instruction. Follow his guidance and let the salsa dance through you, highly recommended (and in response to an earlier comment, not rude at all in my experience but definitely playful)— jack pot

Frequently Asked Questions

How hard is it to learn salsa?

The basic salsa step is quick to pick up, so most people are moving to the music within their first lesson. Timing and partner connection take longer but improve steadily with regular practice.

Can a non-dancer learn salsa?

Yes, beginner salsa classes assume no experience whatsoever. The repetitive basics soon become second nature even for those who have never danced before.

Is it possible to learn ballet as an adult?

Adults can absolutely take up ballet, though you would need a dedicated ballet class rather than a salsa school. Many providers run courses aimed specifically at adult beginners.

What age is too late to start ballet?

There is no age at which ballet becomes off-limits for enjoyment and fitness. Adult classes adjust their pace to suit those starting later in life.

What are 5 basic steps in line dancing?

The grapevine, step-touch, kick-ball-change, heel dig and a simple turn are the usual foundations. Line dancing is a different discipline from the salsa taught here, but these moves recur across most beginner routines.

What is the easiest line dance to learn for beginners?

A short, repetitive four-wall dance is generally the easiest starting point. Once the sequence is learned, quicker dances feel much more manageable.
