What Dancers Say About The Jewels Academy

5/5 from 24 Google reviews.

I fell in love with this place the second I set foot in it! As someone who has no past in dance or gymnastics, I was worried that I would be way behind everyone else but that wasn't the case. Despite ability, size, gender, injuries or age everyone is instantly accepted and all moves tailored to your needs. There is an amazingly positive atmosphere with constant encouragement from instructors and the other Jewels. Not only have I grown as an aerialist, but I stand taller and more confidently in everyday life. Thank you for everything, Jade and Robyn! Xx— Naomi

I've been coming to the Jewels for over 3 years now and it's become one of my favourite places ever.
All the instructors are talented, kind, professional and passionate about everything they do. It's obvious at every class they take immense pride in coaching their students and they are so happy to see their students progress and growth in confidence. The atmosphere is never anything but encouraging, welcoming and fun and anyone is welcome.
I've been taught by Jade, Robyn, Paige and Justina and they're all wonderful.— Arcana M

I go to pole flow and intermediate pole. Both are wonderful! Flow is so supportive, fun and a great workout. Really helps with coordination and I felt comfortable giving it a shot as a beginner. Robyn creates amazing flow routines in different styles .
Intermediate pole has taught me such fun combos and Jade really cheers you on as well as helping with the moves. I am the strongest I have ever been and love my pole sessions! Sooo much fun. Thanks to all the wonderful instructors at Jewels xxx— Faye Minister

Jewels Academy is fantastic for all levels and abilities. Robyn is extremely knowledgable, patient and all around lovely. The flexibility class is fantastic and can be a foundation for all of the elements to train in. It has a combination of yoga moves, stretches, resistance work and conditioning. You don’t need to flexible to join, it’s all a place to start and Robyn will always go at your pace! Couldn’t recommend the Jewels Academy team more 💕💎— Molly jayne

Frequently Asked Questions

How hard is it to learn salsa?

Salsa is very approachable at beginner level, built on a simple repeating step you can pick up in a first lesson. Fluency and styling take longer, but the basics come quickly.

Can a non-dancer learn salsa?

Yes. Salsa classes are full of people who have never danced before, and the basic timing is taught from scratch. No background is needed.

Is it possible to learn ballet as an adult?

It certainly is. Adult ballet begins with the fundamentals and builds strength and flexibility gradually, whatever age you start.

What age is too late to start ballet?

There is no cut-off. Adults of any age take up ballet for its posture, control and enjoyment, working at their own pace.

What are 5 basic steps in line dancing?

Common steps include the grapevine, step-touch, kick-ball-change, pivot turn and shuffle. Routines link these repeated moves together.

What is the easiest line dance to learn for beginners?

A short four-wall dance with a repeating pattern is easiest to start with. Teachers usually choose one that gives fast early success.
