I have been lucky enough to be part of this academy for around 2 years now and can honestly say that Joanne (academy principal) is an absolute joy to know. She is amazing with the students and she really knows how to get the best from them in every way. The atmosphere in the studios is amazing and there is never any nastiness or jealousy amongst the students (like most schools I have experienced previously!!!. . . Enough said. . . ) and the whole academy truly feels like a "family".
I would happily and highly recommend this academy for students of all ages and the adult classes are truly fab— Jennie Pearce
I can only echo previous reviews.

Absolutely fantastic dance school. My daughter has been dancing with them for a year now and is so happy. Joanne is a fantastic teacher and runs a lovely friendly dance school. On first joining the dance school my daughter was made to feel so welcome both Joanne and all the girls dancing— Michelle Shaw
Absolutely amazing dance school, toddler class on a Friday is fantastic and so is the Saturday morning fairy’s class. Wouldn’t take my daughter anywhere else. She absolutely loves going to dancing and has made lots of friends from going there.— Ashleigh Mills
Start with a beginners' class where the basic steps and hold are taught in stages. There is no need for a partner or any previous experience.
The waltz is a favourite first dance thanks to its slow, even rhythm. Once it feels comfortable, dances such as the foxtrot or quickstep follow on well.
Yes, adults can take up ballet at any stage and benefit from the posture and strength it builds. Beginner classes move at a realistic pace through the essentials.
There is no upper limit for enjoying ballet as a hobby. Adults regularly begin later in life and get a great deal from it.
Common building blocks are the grapevine, step-touch, kick-ball-change, pivot turn and shuffle. Learning these prepares you for countless routines, since dances reuse them in different orders.
Simple dances like the Electric Slide use a few repeated steps and are ideal for a first attempt. You can pick up the full routine in a single session.
