Great venue. We were there for a 60th birthday party. The hall was huge and really well dressed. A lovely bar and the young girls serving us were fab. Drinks were good value and a good selection. The food was excellent and plenty of it. The only tiny tiny negative were the toilets. So small and cramped.— Sandra Thomas

A social ballroom or Latin style makes a friendly start, especially if you might later fancy competing. Pick one whose music you enjoy.
Adults often begin with social ballroom or Latin, which offer a clear path from casual dancing towards competition if that appeals.
Gentle dancing can aid general fitness, but anyone with a heart condition should check with their GP before starting.
