About London School of Pole Dancing

The feedback is glowing, with long-term students praising the teacher, Natalie, for her encouragement, artistry and technical depth built over many years. People mention feeling welcomed from their first class and discovering real physical strength through the training. It suits those wanting a challenging, empowering form of dance in a warm environment.

Classes & Dance Styles

This is a specialist school, so the focus is pole dance rather than the general dance classes many studios list. Lessons combine grip and strength work with spins, tricks and the flowing, artistic side of pole, progressing from basics upward. Because it is learned solo, no partner is needed, and beginners are guided carefully through the fundamentals before more demanding moves. Expect real physical development alongside the dance skills.

What to Expect on Your First Visit

Newcomers are welcomed and start with the essentials, so there is no need to arrive strong or experienced. Wear clothing that leaves skin free at the arms and legs for grip, and bring water; the studio can advise on specifics. Expect a friendly, non-judgemental session.

Location & Contact

The studio operates in London and is reachable by the city's usual transport links. Confirm the exact location when you book a class.

I have been training with Natalie for over a year now and I have to say what an amazing experience the whole thing has been.

Not only is Natalie an incredible teacher who continues to support, inspire and encourage her students in class, she takes the extra step to motivate us when we are outside of the classroom so that we are always performing at the best of our ability.

I have been going to pole dancing with Natalie for a couple of months now and honestly I was a little shy at first as it was the first time me trying it but I enjoyed it sooo much. She is one of the most amazing and encouraging woman I have met with incredible talent. She helped me achieve things, I never thought I could because it truly seemed impossible but SHE made it possible and I can’t thank her enough. If you ever want to try something new she is the best at this and cannot recommend her enough!!!— Teodora Csoban

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you learn to dance without a partner?

Yes, pole dancing is practised entirely solo, as are many other styles. A partner is not needed to learn or progress here.

What should I wear to a beginner dance class?

For pole, shorts and a top that leave the arms and legs bare help with grip, and bare feet are common. The studio can confirm the details when you enquire.

How much does a dance class usually cost?

Prices depend on class length, level and whether you buy single sessions or blocks. Contact the studio directly for current rates.

Which dance is best for beginners?

That depends on your interests, though pole is a rewarding choice if you want strength and artistry combined. Beginner pole classes assume no prior experience.

What is the best dance to start as an adult?

Many adults take up pole for its mix of fitness and self-expression, though ballet, ballroom and social styles are also welcoming. Choose what appeals to you most.

Is dancing good for heart failure?

Gentle movement can support heart health for some, but pole is physically demanding and anyone with heart failure should consult a doctor first. Always seek medical advice before starting.
