What Dancers Say About Goddards classical ballet school

5/5 from 2 Google reviews.

The best dance school for miles! We come from Radlett just for Jo! My daughter started when she was 3 (after trying other ballet schools) and from the first lesson, she was in love!
Jo is the absolutely perfect mix of fun and high standards! The girls have so much fun but also learn and get into good habits from the get go. I’ve never had to double check my daughter wants to continue with each term that goes by, it’s her fave out of all of her after school classes, including a pony!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you learn to dance without a partner?

Yes, and ballet is a good example since it is learned and practised individually rather than in couples. Many dance styles are taught solo, so a partner is never a requirement to begin.

What should I wear to a beginner dance class?

For ballet, comfortable fitted clothing you can move in, soft ballet shoes and neatly tied hair are the usual starting point. The school can confirm any specific uniform when you get in touch.

How much does a dance class usually cost?

Fees vary with class length, age group and whether you pay per term or per session. Contact the school directly for current pricing.

Which dance is best for beginners?

Ballet is an excellent foundation because it develops posture, coordination and body awareness that transfer to other styles. For young children in particular it is a common and rewarding starting point.

What is the best dance to start as an adult?

That depends on your goals, though ballet, ballroom and social Latin styles all welcome adult beginners. Choose the one whose music and movement appeal to you most.

Is dancing good for heart failure?

Gentle dancing can support cardiovascular health for many people, but anyone with heart failure should follow their doctor's guidance first. Always seek medical advice before starting a new activity.
