My eldest daughter has been at Sarah’s school since she was 3 years old – she will be 11 at Christmas! My youngest daughter has also been attending for the last 2 years too since she was also 3. Sarah makes dancing so enjoyable and fun but at the same time she encourages them to grow in technique and confidence and gets amazing results out of all the dancers when they take their exams. Sarah’s school often puts on a show which all the pupils enjoy taking part in and makes such wonderful memories and experiences for them all. Thank you Sarah for your kindness and professionalism and the gift of— Sarah Blackmore

Yes. Ballet and the styles taught here are learned solo or in a group, so no partner is required to take part.
Comfortable clothes that let you move freely are best, along with soft ballet shoes for ballet classes. The academy can confirm exactly what a young beginner needs.
Fees depend on the class, age group and whether sessions are charged termly. Contact the academy directly for current pricing.
For young children, ballet gives an excellent grounding in posture, coordination and discipline that carries into other styles. Staff can advise on the right starting class.
This academy centres on children and young dancers, so an adult should check what is offered before enrolling. Generally, a style with clear, structured steps is the easiest adult starting point.
Light, regular movement can benefit general heart health, but anyone with heart failure should consult their GP before starting. A dance school cannot give medical advice, so seek it from a professional first.
