I have had the opportunity to teach singing with the DN students this summer and it has been such a rewarding honour and an enjoyable experience. To see students develop in such a ‘family’ of a team is so encouraging, and to share in their breakthroughs was so worth it!
Nicky, Lindsay and the whole DN team have such a wonderfully inclusive and community-building vision for the place and it’s exciting to see how it will develop.

My daughter joined DN Dance a year ago and I have nothing but praise for the dance school, they are very professional. They have beautiful, purpose-fitted, spacious studios which are a lovely environment for learning in. We take the full suite of dance classes available for my daughter's age group as well as musical theatre classes at their Edinburgh Theatre School and have found the teachers to be exceptional at what they do. Our daughter had her 8th birthday party at the South Gyle studio last week and she loved every minute of it!! Zoe and Lindsay were great at helping us set up and nothing was too much trouble!! Miss Zoe was fantastic with the kids and made it so much fun for all 21 kids there (including 3 boys)! The kids were fully engaged and enjoyed showing their fabulous freshly learned dance routine to their parents at the end! We had an amazing 6th birthday party. Olivia who took care of the kids was amazing. We had one child who was a little reluctant to take part and she made him completely comfortable.
The kids were totally engaged with getting their dance routine together to our son's few chosen songs and the results were all 20 kids doing their best to put on a show for the parents.
The location is very accessible (22 bus or tram). The time allowed for setting up the catering was spot on.
The communication prior to the event was clear and helpful.
