So pleased to have found this cool space for my dance practice, at affordable rates. (I'm quite a beginner and don't have much space at home). It's light, clean and friendly, and just a couple of minutes from Paddington Station.
I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Have tried ballroom lessons with two of the Equal Dance teachers so far and will be taking more. They are really good – inspirational!— Shaw “Dr Orchid” Kate
Took a couple private lessons here with different instructors. Everyone was super nice and the Equal Dance team makes everyone feel very welcome! I am not an advanced dancer, so I feel like I learned a lot. The instructors were all very experienced and know very well how to look after absolute beginners and make beautiful wedding choreographies. The space is also really cool! 💯— Alice Kinevsky

Ideal for dance practise, lessons, or filming/photography.— Emma Ward
Salsa's basic step is easy to pick up, and beginners usually manage simple patterns within a few classes. Building speed and styling develops with regular practice.
Yes, salsa welcomes people with no dance background, and lessons start from the basics. The instructors are used to guiding complete beginners.
Adults can certainly learn ballet and progress with steady practice. Contact the studio to check which styles feature in their current schedule.
No age is too late to begin ballet; consistency matters more than your starting age. Adult learners make real headway with regular lessons.
Line dancing typically uses the grapevine, step-touch, kick-ball-change, pivot turn and shuffle. Get in touch to ask whether line dancing is part of the timetable.
Short routines built on a grapevine and a simple turn are the most approachable. Ask the studio about beginner-friendly sessions when you enquire.
