What Dancers Say About Soul Dance London

5/5 from 6 Google reviews.

Being an aerial dancer since 2013 and now starting to learn the Argentine tango amoungest other partner dances, partner dancing became a whole new world for me. I cannot recommend Pedro enough. Pedro is without a doubt one the best teachers in dance I have ever known. His knowledge and evaluation of your movements will not be ignored and he adopts a solid foundation in ballet, contemporary and jazz. His teaching refuses to accept any standard short of perfection. If you're looking to dance with finesse and correct technique and form, I would strongly recommended him, and I am so grateful for m— T Velasquez

Pedro is really good at teaching dance. Personally I have been hooked on to tango, so learning balance and the different musicality aspects and tango dance moves was an amazing experience. A very receptive teacher always helping correct the minute mistakes. Would recommend his class to anyone looking to start off in dance, Tango included.— Rachit Lobo

Frequently Asked Questions

How hard is it to learn salsa?

Salsa is very learnable, with the basic timing coming together after a handful of sessions. This school's strength is Argentine tango and partner work, so ask what they recommend for salsa.

Can a non-dancer learn salsa?

Yes. Social Latin dances are built for people starting from zero, and good beginner teaching makes it approachable for anyone.

Is it possible to learn ballet as an adult?

Adults can absolutely learn ballet. Soul Dance London specialises in tango and partner dancing, so a ballet school would suit that goal better.

What age is too late to start ballet?

There is no age at which it becomes too late to begin. Consistent practice and the right level of class matter far more.

What are 5 basic steps in line dancing?

Typical line dance steps include the grapevine, kick-ball-change, weave, pivot turn and step-touch. A line dancing group would be the place to explore that further.

What is the easiest line dance to learn for beginners?

Simple, repetitive routines with a strong beat are the easiest way into line dancing.
